Apple Turnovers

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes
Serves: 2 pastries


2 teaspoon(s) of sugar
2 sheet(s) of puff pastry
1 apple(s)
5 tablespoon(s) of water


To make applesauce
Put the apples into a pot.
Add the water.
Bring to boil.
Lower heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
(stay close and add some extra water if needed).
Stir vigorously to break the apples apart.
Add sugar to your tasting.

To make the apple triangle
Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
Put two tablespoons of applesauce on the puff pastry.
Wet the edges of the pastry.
Fold the pastry and push the edges to make them stick together.
Wet the top of the folded pastry and sprinkle each pastry with a teaspoon of sugar.
Bake for 20 minutes or untill golden brown.


Add raisins, cinnamon, etc. if you like!
